As the end of the year is quickly approaching high school students, Boone High will be having a field day to celebrate the end of the year. A new group to involve students voices have made this possible.

May is Go the Distance month. Friday, May 6th, the high schoolers will be able to enjoy an afternoon at the track.

The activities planned include an inflatable obstacle course, bubble soccer, the dodgeball tournament, there will be a dunk tank that the teachers will get in and the students will have the opportunity to dunk them, bean bag games, cyclone ball, and giant Jenga. Students will have the chance to come to just hang out and have fun with their friends.

R.S.V.P. stands for Raising Student Voices and Participation. They plan on making changes throughout the school year to make our school better.

For the event, the high school will be running be on a different schedule that will not have a fifth or sixth hour.

Sophomore member Jaiden Huseman said. “ I think we can accomplish many great things through RSVP. I am excited to see what students think of this and how we can help the school.”

As the school is coming to a close, the high schoolers are celebrating before semester tests start.
