This Friday is Toreador Theater’s semi annual play performance. This spring’s play is called “I Don’t Have a Clue” written by Craig Sodaro. Kids from all grades freshman to seniors are involved in the play and they have been putting in hard work since the end of January.
“I Don’t Have a Clue” tells the story of a murder-mystery dinner party for friends, that quickly leads to hilarious hijinks and fun. The play features a varied cast, who all hope that their hard work can lead to some real laughs from their audience.
Michaela Wisecup the stage manager for this play feels that the play has a lot to offer. “I Don’t Have a Clue has been one of the funniest murder mysteries to be involved in. It definitely has an exciting plot that’s filled to the brim with funny jokes and pop culture references.” said Wisecup.
Alaney Parker, a sophomore, plays the role of Corky Robinson. Alaney has been in productions since 7th grade and doesn’t plan on stopping anytime soon. Alaney says that it’s a little stressful memorizing lines, but the overall outlook is worth it. “This year has been a great experience for me getting to work with other talented actors and actresses.” Says Parker.
Tickets are $3 for students and $5 for adults. Don’t forget to come watch “I Don’t Have a Clue” Friday the 31st and Saturday the 1st.
