Cole Harper had a two-second time drop in the 200 Free. Harper said of the meet, “swimming at home tonight we came out with a lot of enthusiasm and excitement.” That excitement showed with team captain Reese Powell, who came out victorious in the 100 free, surpassing Carrol’s top sprinter, Sebastian Pek, with a time of 50.41. Freshman Ben Patterson was the anchor in the varsity B relay for the 400 free and out-touched the Carroll B relay. These close victories helped the Toreadors to capture the meet.
As the Boys swim season is wrapping up there are only a few meets left before the conference, district, and state meets. The boy’s next meet is Thursday, January 18.
