Seven returning lettermen are back for the ‘Dors, giving them a lot of meet experience. It should be noted that only one of those lettermen is a senior.
Senior Dalton Huseman looks to lead the way, as he posted the lowest nine hole average for the team last year.
"I expect to be better, I worked hard in the summer developing my game and am excited for my last season and hopefully my hard work and dedication will show during the postseason,” said Huseman.
A host of juniors will be making an impact at the varsity level as well. Ethan Lewis and Tanner Schminke were also top three on the team in nine hole averages.
“I've really been working on my short game this winter and I plan on it transferring to my game right away,” Lewis said.
In order to round out a strong varsity lineup, a few underclassmen must step up. Sophomores Ben Wagner and Tate Clemons showed potential, playing sparingly in varsity invitationals last season.
The team will begin optional practice the week of spring break, with practice officially commencing the following week.
