The Boone Boys basketball team looks to stay hot after two strong wins last week. They beat both Grinnell and Winterset with ease and look to continue their winning streak. Boone will play Bondurant-Farrar (4-4) in the Kate Shelley Fieldhouse.
The Bluejays are also on a hot streak, they have won their past three games while averaging 70.3 points per game and only allowing 58.3 points per game. The Jays have three players in double figures. They are senior Bobby Wright, and juniors John Carlson and Seth Moeller.
In the two games last week, Boone averaged 69 points but only allowed 54 points per game. They outscored their opponents by an average of 15 points.
The Toreador’s strength of schedule is in the top fifteen in 3A and they’re also ranked eleventh in offensive efficiency. Boone is ranked twelfth in 3A according to BCmoore.
Boone is set to square off against the Bluejays from Bondurant tomorrow in the Boone High Gym. Tipoff is at 7:30.
