The Toreador Volleyball team posted a (2-3) record this past weekend Saturday, October 1 in Newton. They played Eddyville, Des Moines North, Newton, Pella, and Harlan.
Boone beat Eddyville 21-12, won against Des Moines North 21-19, but lost to 21-9, 14-21, 20-22 to Newton. They also lost to Pella 25-18, 19-25, 9-15, and Harlan 23-25, 15-25.
The ‘Dors are lead this year by senior Grace Krafcisin, “We've had a lot of good matches this year and with each game I try to bring all that I can and it starts with practice and being able to get better day by day so that it shows on the court. “ said Krafcisin.
Boone’s next matches are in Mason City on Saturday, October 7. They will play the second match against Mason City (8-16) and the fifth match against Central Springs (16-2).
They will be on the main court for both pool play games. The tournament starts at 8:30 am. The rest of their matches on Saturday will Depend on how the team does.
